Role Overview:
Title: Paediatrician — AI-Paired Telemedicine
Location: Bengaluru · On-site · Full-time
Reports to: Medical Director / Cofounder
Hours: 9am–6pm, 5.5 days/week

The company is building an AI-led health companion that understands members over time, remembers their health history, reasons through medical situations, and brings in expert doctors when needed. It is well funded by prominent unicorn founders, doctors, and venture capital firms.
The Role:
You will lead paediatric care across text, voice, and video consultations. Alongside direct patient care, you will build the clinical protocols, evaluations, and AI safeguards required to provide safe, high-quality care for children.
Indicative Time Split: ~60% patient care · ~20% paediatric AI training and testing · ~20% protocols
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver paediatric teleconsultations and manage common acute concerns, growth, nutrition, development and preventive care.
- Identify cases that need urgent, emergency or in-person evaluation.
- Own consultation quality, response times and follow-up standards.
- Build protocols for triage, escalation, prescribing and safety-netting.
- Create clinical evaluations and test cases; review AI outputs for red flags, age-appropriate advice and dosing safety.
- Support audits, incident reviews, continuous improvement and doctor training.
- MD, DNB or DCH in Paediatrics, with 2-5 years of clinical practice after postgraduate training.
- Strong outpatient and acute-care judgment, evidence-based practice and paediatric safety.
- Administrative or quality-process experience.
- Active Karnataka Medical Council registration, or ability to obtain it.
- Comfortable working with AI, product and engineering teams.
- Fluent English; conversational Kannada or Hindi.
Experience in telemedicine, health-tech, or digital health
Experience creating protocols, conducting audits, or training clinicians
Exposure to developmental, adolescent, or preventive paediatrics
