Role Overview:
Title: Gynaecologist — AI-Paired Telemedicine
Location: Bengaluru · On-site · Part-time
Reports to: Medical Director / Co-founder
Hours: 20–24 hours/week, across 4–5 days

The Role:
You will lead women’s healthcare across text, voice and video consultations. Alongside patient care, you will help build the clinical protocols, evaluations and AI safeguards required for safe and empathetic women’s healthcare.
Indicative Time Split: ~50% patient care · ~35% women’s health AI training and testing · ~15% protocols
What You’ll Do:
Deliver teleconsultations across menstrual, reproductive, sexual, pregnancy and midlife health
Manage common concerns including PCOS, menstrual irregularities, contraception, infections, fertility questions and menopause
Identify cases requiring examination, investigation, urgent care or in-person referral
Own consultation quality, response times and follow-up standards for women’s health
Build protocols for triage, escalation, prescribing, investigations and safety-netting
Create clinical evaluations and test cases for common and high-risk presentations
Write medically correct prompts, decision rules and evidence-based content for the AI
Review AI outputs for red flags, medication safety, pregnancy-related risks and clinical accuracy
Support clinical audits, incident reviews and continuous improvement
Help build the specialist, diagnostics and in-person referral network
What We’re Looking For:
MS/MD/DNB/DGO in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
At least 4 years of clinical practice after post-graduation, preferably with metro-city patients
Administrative experience such as managing a clinic, unit, team, rota, programme or quality process
Strong outpatient judgement across reproductive and women’s health
Rational, evidence-based prescribing without unnecessary antibiotics, hormonal treatment, investigations or supplements
Active Karnataka Medical Council registration, or ability to obtain it
Strong grounding in patient safety, privacy and sensitive communication
Comfort using AI tools and working with product and engineering teams
Fluent English; conversational Kannada or Hindi
Good to Have:
Experience in telemedicine, health-tech or digital health
Experience creating protocols, conducting audits or training clinicians
Exposure to reproductive medicine, preventive women’s health or menopause care
An existing clinical practice or referral network in Bengaluru
