The Role You will be the domain bridge between our clients, product, and engineering teams across our Cards Issuing and Merchant Acquiring products. You will turn complex payments requirements into clear, buildable specifications, and see them through to go-live.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead requirements workshops with banks, fintechs, and processors. Document current-state and target-state flows for issuing and acquiring programs.
• Produce BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria that engineering can build against without ambiguity.
• Run fit-gap analysis of client requirements against the Stitch platform. Recommend configuration, extension, or roadmap decisions.
• Define card lifecycle flows: product setup, issuance, activation, authorization, clearing and settlement, disputes and chargebacks, fees, and limits.
• Map integrations with card schemes (Jaywan, Visa, Mastercard), processors, HSMs, tokenization providers, and core banking systems.
• Support RFP and pre-sales responses with solution narratives and compliance matrices.
• Plan and support SIT and UAT. Triage defects and manage sign-off.
• Make sure solutions meet SAMA, PCI DSS, and scheme compliance requirements.
Requirements
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in cards and payments, at a bank, processor, or payments technology vendor.
• Hands-on knowledge of issuing and/or acquiring, including ISO 8583, authorization flows, settlement and reconciliation, and dispute management.
• Working knowledge of scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard), with Jaywan experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with SAMA regulations and PCI DSS. • Strong documentation skills, including BPMN/UML, Jira, and Confluence.
• Comfortable working with APIs (REST, JSON) and reading API specifications.
• Client-facing presence, able to lead workshops with bank stakeholders.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
Nice to Have
• Experience with prepaid, BNPL, or virtual card programs.
• Exposure to tokenization (Apple Pay, Google Pay), 3DS, or fraud monitoring.
• CBAP, CCBA, or a payments certification.
